Bi-lateral corneal blindness had reduced Sunday Monday's sight to two feet in front of his face and forced him to quit school. But the need of others in the room far exceeded available tissue for transplant. The chances against ever returning to school seemed overwhelming to Sunday Monday.
Fortunately, he was among the lucky few to receive a transplant that day! Joy replaced despair. He was able to return to school.
